East Grand Rapids To Offer One-Week Storm Cleanup Program

Storm Cleanu

The City of East Grand Rapids will institute a one-week storm cleanup program from March 13 to 17.  Utilizing the established yard debris pickup schedule, public works crews will pick up tree branches and limbs brought down by the high winds on March 8.

Storm debris cannot be placed in the street.  Limbs must be cut into four-foot lengths and piled next to the curb for pickup. Small branches can be placed in paper yard waste bags or a reuseable container of no more than 32 gallons.

Please note that the schedule may be altered in case of accumulating snow that necessitates crews being assigned to plowing and salting.

The regularly scheduled yard debris pickup will begin the week of April 3.
