Elementary School Playground Replacement Process

Please join us in reviewing the recommended designs for the elementary school playground replacement projects scheduled for Breton Downs, Lakeside and Wealthy elementary schools during the summer of 2023.   Community members are invited to attend one of the input sessions listed below.  Our consultants at MCSA Group will present the recommended conceptual designs that were developed through multiple community input opportunities this spring and summer.  MCSA Group, EGRPS and City of East Grand Rapids staff will be present to answer community members’ questions about the plans and to describe the next steps in the planning process.  Please note, if community members are unable to attend the session at their home (assigned) elementary school, we encourage members to attend a presentation at another location as all three presentations are identical.

Wealthy Elementary School - August 16, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.

Lakeside Elementary School - August 17, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.

*Breton Downs Elementary School - August 18, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. 

(*Note: The Breton Downs’ design will be presented last during this session.)
